Laproscopic cholestectomy


Today I got to do a laproscopic cholestectomy. Managed to cut the gall bladder out, but not b4 poking a few holes (maybe not "a few") in the liver, making blood spurt everywhere. Had to frantically cauterise the leaking blood vessels, and in my frenzy, I let go of the resected gall bladder. It then became lost in the messy abdomen...

Did I mention that it was a computer simulation?

Advanced Surgical Training Centre in NUH. Beats ANY arcade, ANY time. So real that you can feel the pressure of your instruments touching the organs (or getting entangled in the mess of vessels and tendons...)
