Chance

Do you believe in luck? I dun like to. In fact, when I do something, I do everything in my power to reduce randomness. I like to have control. I dun like to leave things to chance. But here's a story in which I'm grateful for pure, dumb luck...

Last night, when I was calling home, no one answered. I let the phone ring for about 10+ secs before hanging up. My mother called me back later. This morning, when I went home, the whole house smelt of smoke...I asked my lao ma abt it and this was what happened...

My mother was cooking something in the kitchen last night. Feeling tired, she went to sit down in her room, but fell asleep instead. My father was aslp too. The pot that was left on the fire started to boil and burn... Then I happened to call at that time, waking my mother up...By the time she woke up, the house was filled with smoke...

I'm glad I called home...

Silencio

These few days very quiet. Must be because yang lost his voice. Feels a bit weird cos always very noisy wif him arnd... hahahahaha

Should have worn jeans instead of 3/4 pants today... caught ppl staring at the ugly wounds on my legs in the MRT.. (interesting discovery: swimming pool water dissolves fibrin mesh.)
