Maintenance


Thyroid lump still the same size. Guess I'm not going expire from a papillary or follicular ca anytime soon..

"This monitoring is really quite troublesome. If it grows more lumps we'll just chop it out... *laughs*"

"Har, wun I have to take thyroxine all my life then.."

"Hmmm... yea, probably not worth it.."

Anyway Dr Soon was nice enuff to waive my consult fee. He says its common among doctors.. =)

Went to service my malfunctioning graphics card (8800GTS) on the same day. This also explains why I haven been online the whole week (in addition to the fact that I was studying in sch..)

"Yup, it's not working. We'll have to send it back to Taiwan for servicing as this product has no stock anymore. EOL (End of Life). That'll take 4-6 weeks.."

My eyes almost bulged out. Managed to restrain myself.

"In the meantime, we can loan you another card until your card comes back."

Phew. Not bad. Quite surprised that they have this kind of service. Was loaned a slightly weaker 8600GTS. Makes sense also.. if I ran away and dun return, it's my loss since my own card is more powerful.. Oh wells.
