First post after the long hiatus, so lemme share something I discovered during the mugging...

Wheather's Functional Histology, pg.157, article on skin:
"The skin provides protection against ultraviolet light and mechanical, chemical and thermal insults"

I think it forgot that thick skin also protects against verbal insults.

Sorry not very funny...
